Essential Direct Cremation

Our Essential Direct Cremation Service includes everything you need for the cremation to take place

​

  • A non-attended cremation at Torquay Crematorium

  • A fully lined basic coffin

  • Doctors fees (if required)

  • Bringing your loved one into care from:

    • a hospital or non-hospital location (within 15 miles)

  • Bringing your loved one into care either:

    • during normal office hours or out of office hours

  • Caring for your loved one until the day of the funeral 

  • Help and guidance with paperwork and registration

  • 24-hour help and support

  • Talk with us in person at our funeral home in Paignton

  • Transporting your loved one to the crematorium 

  • Us to collect the ashes on your behalf

Essential Direct Cremation Cost: £1,595

We give a £75 discount off the cost of our Essential Direct Cremation Service for people who qualify for our "Heroes Discount"

Choices and Options

Our Essential Direct Cremation Service is designed to allow you to add additional options to help you say goodbye the right way for you.  

​

National companies will not allow you to have most of these services and this can make a Direct Cremation incredibly hard for families.

​

These are just some of the services you can choose to add and only pay an additional fee for what you choose:

  • Visiting your loved one in our Chapel of Rest

  • Having your loved one dressed in their own clothes

  • Small blessing service in our Chapel for up to 8 people

  • Choosing a different coffin from our range

  • Adding a special cortege route on the day of the cremation

Our pricing is so easy to follow with no hidden charges or extra fees.

 

Simply add any additional options or choices you would like to our Essential Direct Cremation Fee and minus any discount.  It really is as simple as that.

Our Basic Oak Coffin

Basic Oak Coffin

We use our Basic Oak Foil Coffin for Direct Cremation.  You are also free to choose any coffin in our current Coffin Brochure and just pay the listed price of that coffin in addition.

 

Ashes Container

The ashes are returned in a cremation box which is designed to be interred or stored.  You can choose a Navy or Red Scatter Tube if you prefer.
